Web Application Developer

We are looking for a web application developer to create websites for clients and work on in-house projects.

Applicants must have experience and be familiar with the following:

• Object Oriented Programming
• PHP
• MySQL (or other relational database systems)
• HTML
• Cross-browser CSS

Experience with the following technologies, concepts and libraries is a plus, but not required:

• JavaScript (Experience with the prototype or scriptaculous libraries is helpful)
• Subversion (or other source code respository systems)
• Flash and ActionScript
• Model View Controller Architecture
• Creating and Consuming Web Services
• Ruby on Rails

Applicants should also be able to work with attention to detail, give fairly accurate estimates for projects and be able to meet deadlines.

We are located in the Comer building, across from the Creamery on 9th and within walking distance to BYU. The position will require 15-20 hours of work a week with a flexible schedule that will work around your classes. The position offers the opportunity to advance in the company and work full-time in the summer and after graduation. If hired, you will be able to work on real projects with clients, work on larger projects with a team and learn new programming concepts and technologies. The job will pay $15-$18/hr, depending on experience.
